[[of nurses and football and codes]]

nursing week : 2 days of walking around seremban hospital until my legs were sore, doing observation (taking blood pressure, temperature and pulse rate) over and over again, and generally missing out on seeing all the exciting things other people managed to witness. not very worth mentioning i would say.

what i do have to point out is that over the course of these 2 days (the night in between), i got a total of 1 hour's sleep. and it wasn't even the best sleep. more like half conscious. but it WAS my own fault. or rather football's. namely the Champion's league final. Barca vs. arsenal. yours truly was of course supporting barca. and rightly so, as they won. hehe. i did get to bed at abt 10 sth, but couldn't sleep for ever so long. tossing and turning, trying various sleeping positions, without head pillow, without bolster. all to no avail. in the end i got up and had a meal. haha.. with company of course =)

as can be expected, i immediately 'conked out' when i got back the 2nd day. plans for the day after (yesterday actually), was the da vinci code. i made a decision not to read the book because i didn't want to cast any doubts into my mind. like my discipler sharon said, when you really know the bible well, then only can you trust your faith to be strong enough to withstand anything the book can throw at you. but then i went for the talk that pastor vic had in ecf rebutting and proving all dan brown's "facts" wrong. so i thought i'd go for the movie and maybe be able to tell the others the truth. it was an okay movie, nothing great. and it seems as though, thank God, not one of my friends took it seriously. was also a pretty good days for mushrooms to grow.. stil haven't heard the stories yet, but i'm quite sure all went well.. haha.

i got to get back to taenia solium and saginata. proglottids mature and rupture releasing eggs.
